The Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital also rates among the top California hospitals according to our patient's assessment of their satisfaction with the hospital. The hospital participates in the California Hospital Assessment and Reporting Taskforce (CHART), an ongoing statewide hospital performance reporting system. CHART uses the NRC+Picker Group (National Research Corporation + Picker) to conduct the research as NRC+Picker is a premier research firm that specializes in studying patient experience. They administer the CHART survey tool that compares hospital performance in terms of these important indices of patient satisfaction. The hospital's results are voluntarily shared with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid as they prepare to launch a nationwide effort to assess patient satisfaction with hospitals.

On a scale of 0 (0 being the worst hospital) to 10 (10 being the best hospital), 74.1% of our former patients rated the hospital a "10" and another 12.2% rated the hospital a "9". That is, a total of 86.3% of the patients surveyed rated the Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital a "9" or "10" on a scale of 0 - 10.

87.8% of patients surveyed indicated they "definitely would" recommend the Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital to family and friends.
