Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Per Diem
Graduate of an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
Current Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine all scopes including venipuncture certificate.
Current NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT.
Certified Coding Specialist
Part Time (Flexible Hours)
This position is accountable for assigning ICD-9-CM and CPT codes to each patient account. High School Diploma. Associate’s Degree from a two-year college preferred. Two years of Acute Care Coding/Inpatient and Outpatient experience. Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) issued by AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association). Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT).
Clinical Coordinator, Telemetry & Medical Surgical
Full Time
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for management of patient care provided by department personnel. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of the departmental patients in order to ensure that patients and families receive an optimum level of care. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a resource for clinical area activities and overall functioning. The position is also accountable for assisting the Unit Manager with providing leadership to the department, including maximizing personnel abilities and competence, problem resolution, orienting and mentoring department personnel.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; baccalaureate degree encouraged. Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of Telemetry nursing. Current state Registered Nurse Licensure. Current ACLS and BCLS certification required
Plant Services Engineer
Full Time Temp Position (approx 12 month assignment)
Operates, maintains, repairs, and inspects the central plant equipment mechanical systems and hospital equipment systems. Performs minor remodeling projects in the hospital.
Technical competencies > Basic knowledge and skill set in plant operation and maintenance disciplines (JCAHO requirement). High School diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. College/Industrial Technology Courses. Three years experience in maintaining and operating industrial related equipment and systems. VALID CA Driver’s License
Monitor Technician
Full Time Nights
Provides indirect care in the department setting. Monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac screen or telemetry monitors. Transcribes physician orders from records with notation and signatures by nursing staff. Prepares and compiles records in the department. Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities. Assist with basic patient care needs.
High School diploma, or GED. Basic computer knowledge. Word processing. Monitor Tech certificate
Manager, Short Stay Program
Full Time
The manager is accountable for the daily provision of service in the Short Stay Pre-Op & Post –OP Areas as well as Pre-Admit testing. Applies advanced knowledge in the service area setting and is a role model and staff resource. Responsible for scheduling and staffing. Will assist Director in meeting departmental goals, implementation of staff education and training and time and attendance monitoring and confirmation. Coordinates staff evaluation process, assessing competency and assuring compliance with policy and procedure, standards of care, regulatory standards and documentation. Flexible work schedule to meet the service needs of the department.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Advanced nursing education & training preferred. Five years experience as a Registered Nurse in Short Stay/Preoperative environment. Critical Care experience encouraged but not required. Arrhythmia recognition and 12 lead ECG analysis recommended. Basic computer knowledge and skill. Current CA Registered Nursing License. Current ACLS and BLS certification. CCRN or CSPAN encouraged.
Operating Room Tech II
Full Time
High skill level in specialty service lines. This position is responsible for the intraoperative preparation of the sterile field according to the physician’s preference card relating to the type of procedure to include but not limited to: initial case preparation of supplies and instruments needed, creation and maintenance of the sterile field, passing instruments and suture to the surgeon, case completion with surgical suite decontamination and transport of instrumentation to SPD for reprocessing, and assistance, as needed with decontamination of instruments and instrument reprocessing. Responsible for scrubbing in all types of cases, turning over operating rooms between cases.
High School graduate. Minimum 2 years experience in the surgical technician role in the operating room, with extensive skill in specialty service lines such as Neurology, Orthopedics, or Cardio-thoracic. Current BLS certification. Surgical Technician certification preferred
